About the Playwrights

Andi Teran is an actor and writer from the deserts of West Texas. She was awarded the Morton Brown Acting Scholarship and received her BFA in Acting at the University of Texas at Austin where she met Jeff Long. Upon moving to New York, she attended finishing school with Mr. Long at The Mercer Hotel while also performing in plays all over the East Village and in dilapidated warehouses in Queens. Favorite NY credits include: the Werner Herzog approved stage adaptation of his film Stroszek (New York International Fringe Festival), David's Redhaired Death (St. Mark’s Theatre), Wanderlust (Mabou Mines/P.S. 122), Mike Albo's 3 Women in Indecision (The Kraine), and 5x3 (Midtown International Theatre Festival). She currently writes culture content for CITY magazine, BizBash, Vanity Fair’s VF Daily, and her own blog Verbose Coma.

Jeff Long is an Alabama native who studied drama and playwriting at the University of Texas at Austin with his co-author, Andi Teran. He has been working as a performer in New York for 7 years, appearing in a bunch of plays, including A Clockwork Orange and The Bad Seed, both directed by AnnaCatherine Rutledge. He also appeared in Two Girls From Vermont, which was later performed in the New York International Fringe Festival. He is currently a recapper for the Bravo TV website Television Without Pity where he covers one very good show, Project Runway, and one very bad show, Cashmere Mafia (R.I.P.). In addition to being Andi Teran's best friend for 400 years, he appeared as an extra with her in the flop film The Newton Boys, worked with her at The Mercer hotel for 4 years, and was her honor attendant at her wedding.
